The PTOLEMY project aims at detecting directly the Cosmic Neutrino Background, a radiation emitted 1s after the Big Bang. A novel detector technology based on 2D graphene monoatomic layer to store Tritium as target atom will be exploited. For such a measurement an unprecedented energy resolution is required when measuring the beta electron from the Tritium decay, for this reason Transition Edge Sensor will be used as microcaloremeters for the first time. To fight aganist high rate electrons from tritium decay, one needs to select only interesting electrons, this is realized by means of a new type of electromagnetic active filter.
